This flowchart illustrates the new attendance approach for absence coordinators and internal coaches. It is a simplified representation, a kind of 'railway timetable', of an obviously careful and intensive process that looks different for each child. Use it as a guide to take steps with parents during this process, gather the right people around the table and explore and identify together what the child needs. This is different for every child, tailor-made. We hope that this guide contributes to a careful process that leads to an appropriate form of education, also for children who are (temporarily) no longer able to attend school.
