Participation in the samenwerkingsverband

Yes you can. We are happy to be in contact if you want to think along with us about all the themes of appropriate education. This can often be done directly at your child's school or the school with which you work or collaborate. We are a very large samenwerkingsverband and therefore there are various possibilities:

• The sounding board group (klankbordgroep). This is a group of professionals who, on behalf of the school boards and schools, contribute ideas about the policy and implementation of appropriate education.
• The Support Plan council (OPR). This is the formal participation body of het samenwerkingsverband that gives its consent to the support plan. Both parents and staff members of schools are welcome in this council.
• IBwijs, this interactive digital knowledge platform is intended for internal supervisors and supervisors of appropriate education.
• Theme meetings for schools. Keep an eye on our website and newsletter for an announcement of such a meeting.

At the level of het samenwerkingsverband, we mainly talk about the policy of appropriate education for the whole samenwerkingsverband. For example, about the basic support that every school has to meet, or about how we want to arrange admission to special education.

Would you, as a parent, like to discuss how appropriate education is arranged at your child's school? You can discuss this directly with the teacher or internal supervisor.
