Samenwerkingsverband Primair Onderwijs Amsterdam Diemen consists of from all school boards of primary and special (primary) education schools. Together we work on appropriate and increasingly inclusive education for all children in Amsterdam and Diemen.
Our support plan describes how we work towards appropriate education and our ambitions. It helps us to do the things that are necessary and also to focus on what we consider important to develop. Are you curious about our plans for the next four years?
All schools for regular primary education and special (primary) education provide appropriate education. Schools and boards are responsible for providing support in regular primary education, for which they receive a budget from us. We make sure there is a network of facilities that covers pupils who need extra support. We also encourage cooperation between schools and with partners.
We think with schools and parents about appropriate support for pupils when appropriate. We must ensure that there is a covering educational offer for all pupils.
Several people work in the partnership team. Want to know who these are and how to reach them? Take a look at all our staff.
The OPR is the SWV's participation council. In the OPR, parents and school staff sit together to take a critical look at the SWV's plans from their own experience. There is room to ask questions and contribute ideas. The OPR also has an important voice in drawing up the support plan. Would you also like to participate? Then read on.
Samenwerkingsverband Primair Onderwijs Amsterdam Diemen has an independent Supervisory Board (BoS). It integrally supervises the policy of the director-director, the implementation of statutory tasks and the general course of affairs within the partnership and the implementing organisation.

We would love to hear your experiences with our organisation.
Several people work at the partnership. For instance, there are people involved in making policy, a communication advisor and someone who leads projects for gifted pupils. There are also team leaders, educational advisers, social experts, experts in autism, and specialists in medical and rehabilitation issues. There is also a coordinator for duty of care, absenteeism and absenteeism. View here our team.
We support school boards and schools by providing resources. We think with schools about appropriate support for pupils when appropriate.
We have many partners with whom we jointly implement appropriate education. These are the main partners within the network:
All pupils are entitled to a good education with appropriate help and support. Preferably close to home. Together, we build inclusive education where every child has a good place, because everyone counts! We want children to grow up safely, learn and develop to their full potential.
Parents usually encounter our partnership for the first time when the school involves the experts in a Support Team. Our social experts always contact parents to explain the procedure, give more information and request more information if necessary.
Would you like to have a say in the policy of appropriate education in Amsterdam and Diemen? You can become a member of the support plan council. More information can be found at here.
Our Support Plan sets out our plans and ambitions for the next four years. Each year, we make the plans concrete in our annual plan. This sets out what our plans are for the coming school year and how we will work on them. Read our support plan and the full annual plan, including all goals for this school year, here.
